Increasingly, we are bombarded with news of conflict, war, environmental crisis, and social unrest from all directions, 24/7. Meanwhile, the sun still rises in the east and the songbirds sing to welcome her. In our California coastal forests, the irises are blooming and the monarch butterflies are returning.
