NATURAL INTELLIGENCE MANIFESTO
PRE-AMBLE: Humans and all our relations are living through a time of great change, in large part due to our own activity. We are witnessing extreme and accelerated global climate change, ripping-tipping points in earth’s planetary water-soil systems, extinction-grade biodiversity loss, and epic air-water-soil-ocean pollution. Geo-political jockeying for power, wealth, and influence continues to erode right relations within our human family, severely stress the rest of the phylogenetic tree of life, uproot our connection to Earth, and desecrate our “unique in the Universe” living planet, Gaia.
It's getting dark-- very dark; and our Mother is calling us home. It is time to come Home (Eikos). We were not born for conflict or war, but peace and prosperity. We are meant to live in community, not continuous chaos and isolating competition. We were not DNA-designed for destruction or naturally selected for suffering or selfish, solitary confinement in billion-dollar castles. We were born for solidarity and purpose beyond personal gain. Given the incredibly short geological time we are here walking upon and migrating across this earthly terrain—that’s the real global game.
May we remember and reclaim our natural intelligence- our connection to and care for Mother Nature, one another, all our relations, and One Earth.
MANIFESTO
I choose to believe that we are inherently good Homo sapiens (smart humans) - gifted with creativity, consciousness, and courage to rise above our animal appetites and act as vital gardeners in nature’s sanctuary.
I choose to believe that we were born to respect, to regenerate, and to reinforce the rich biodiversity on Earth.
I choose to believe that we are heirs to life’s 3.8 billion-year evolutionary legacy since birth and will do my best to be a good legacy-bearer of our animal, plant, fungi fellow ancestors.
I choose to regularly digitally detox from all electronics and artificial intelligence to re-connect to Nature, to re-discover my own naturally intelligent meaning and purpose, and to re-member the 3.8 billion-year living legacy into which I belong.
I choose to be my authentic me--the arrow that flies straight and true; the shield that respects and protects nature and all life in the biosphere and beyond.
I choose to embrace the values of Natural Intelligence inherent within many wisdom traditions, worldwide: integrity, authenticity, respect for diversity, regeneration, loyalty, reciprocity, compassion, and love- for all our relations.

As Naturally Intelligent stewards of our world, we invest in re-creating our right relationship with wildlife. We re-imagine our sacred (whole) place in the natural world. We value nature as precious and priceless, And the great news is that when we invest in Nature, we are investing in ourselves by re-generating our own health and wellbeing and all others with whom we share our Eikos (Home).

Hello! I am Amber. I am the manager of our natural capital investment, the steward of life, the caretaker of Nature’s Sanctuary. Yes, I am, too, that magic light at dawn and dusk; that torch pine perfume; that healing medicine, that sap that binds the ancient cone scales, shielding and sheltering the seeds of the future. Ma stai attento, I am also known for entombing prehistoric insects! When I was young—and I’ve only ever been young, my father called me his Amber Jewel! The sap and soul of life courses through my viscous veins in the tree of life.
Inspired by a lifetime of global adventure and having witnessed wildlife living in harmony all around the world above my roots and within all of nature; I have crafted a treasure trove of reflections and playfully poetic short stories that reveal secrets of survival by our wildlife wisdom keepers and teachers from around the world. I have also woven their truth & tales into a suite of interactive digital and print media designed to pique our child-like wonder of the world, recover our natural, healthy vibrance, and return our compassion toward all life.
